Fair usage policy
ZCore - fair use means normal daily work for every employee: chat, documents, meetings, analysis and API usage within your plan. Automated or scripted bulk generation and reselling access are outside fair use.
ZDev - ZDev is designed to give developers unlimited coding power without per-token billing. To ensure fair access for all users on shared infrastructure, the following guidelines apply:
- Max: unlimited usage for normal coding workflows including code generation, completion, refactoring, debugging and documentation. Go and Pro include agent credits per month (Pro: 3x Go)
- Nothing is metered per token. Each plan carries a per-minute request limit sized for normal coding work
- Requests above the per-minute limit are answered with a retry signal and go through the next minute; normal coding workflows stay well inside it
- Automated or scripted bulk generation that significantly exceeds typical developer usage is not covered
- Using ZDev for non-coding purposes such as content generation, translation or general chat is outside fair usage
- Reselling or redistributing ZDev access to third parties is not permitted
- When Go or Pro credits are used up, requests pause until the next month. An admin can enable overage in ZControl; usage beyond the credits is then billed as passthrough on the invoice - never without that choice
- Admins are alerted at 80% and 100% of a user's credits, and fair usage is monitored per user, not per organisation
Usage that consistently falls outside fair usage may lead to a lower rate limit, supplementary billing or suspension after notice.

Prepaid frontier tokens
Frontier model usage is drawn from a prepaid balance. Buy credits by card in ZControl, like the OpenAI and Anthropic consoles: your plan's admin fee is deducted from each top-up, a receipt is issued automatically, and usage is metered at provider rates against your balance. Top-ups are converted to token credits at the day's exchange rate - no currency risk afterwards. No surprise invoices - your prepaid balance is your spend cap by design. Low-balance alerts at 80% and optional auto-recharge (you set the threshold and amount) keep every app running. Credits expire 12 months after purchase; minimum top-up EUR 100. Enterprise customers can be invoiced for top-ups instead. The same balance also covers ZConnect usage.

Beyond the pool
Usage beyond your included tokens is metered at our published local rate: $1.50 / 1M input · $6.00 / 1M output. A spend cap is on by default: unless you raise it in ZControl, your bill can never exceed your plan price and add-ons. ZControl always shows your live usage and spend.
Throughput
Each plan carries a tokens-per-minute and requests-per-minute limit. Above it, requests are rate-limited until the next minute - the fix is a bigger plan or an Extra block. Only zeldoc/zcore and zeldoc/task count against the pool and the limit; embeddings and transcription run under fair use with their own burst limit, so a re-index never slows your chat.

Fair use means normal daily work for every employee. Bulk scripted generation and reselling are outside fair use. Usage above your plan's throughput is rate-limited until the next minute; a bigger plan or an Extra block raises the limit.
Applications with external users
e.g. AI apps and services built on ZCore and serving users outside your organisation - are billed by consumption, or as a fixed agreement based on the number of external users. The model and pricing is determined after a test period.

ZConnect gives your users access to the Claude Office plugin through ZRouter. No separate subscription - usage is drawn from your prepaid ZRouter balance at provider pricing, plus your plan's admin fee.
Pricing terms & conditions
All prices are shown in EUR and exclude VAT. Danish customers are charged 25% VAT; EU B2B customers with a valid VAT ID are charged via reverse charge. All subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 1 month's written notice - no binding period. ZDev seats or the ZCore plan level can be increased at any time (billed pro rata for the rest of the month); downgrades take effect from the next billing period.
ZCore usage beyond your included token pool is metered monthly in EUR at the published ZCore rate (see "Beyond the pool" above); the ZCore Unlimited add-on is not metered. Frontier model usage via ZRouter/ZConnect is drawn from a prepaid balance. Top-ups are paid in advance by card in ZControl (invoicing available for Enterprise): your plan's admin fee is deducted from each top-up, and top-ups are converted to token credits at the day's exchange rate - no currency risk afterwards. Prepaid credits are non-refundable, are consumed oldest-first and expire 12 months after purchase; unused credits lapse on expiry or when the subscription ends. Minimum top-up EUR 100.
